Ermias Joseph Asghedom, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle, was tragically killed on March 31, when he was shot outside his ‘Marathon Clothing’ store in South Los Angles. Less than two weeks later, thousands gathered at the Staples Center on April 11 for ‘Nipsey Hussle Celebration Of Life.’ It was the first such ceremony to be held at the venue since Michael Jackson’s death in 2009. The memorial was a chance for fans, friends and family members to publicly mourn the heartbreaking end to the young man’s life.
